Alberta, a western Canadian province, has begun the second phase of vaccinations for influenza and COVID-19. Now you can get vaccinated by booking a shot online for around $100 on the Alberta Vaccine Booking System.
This is the first time the Alberta government has put a price on the vaccine; however, the shot is free for healthcare workers and high-risk individuals across provinces, excluding Quebec.
The government of Alberta initiated the first phase on September 29, 2025, targeting individuals with weakened immune systems, pregnant women, seniors residing in healthcare facilities, and Albertans at high risk.
According to Alberta’s respiratory virus dashboard data, only 39,764 individuals were vaccinated in phase 1, accounting for 0.8% of Alberta’s total population.
